Established in 1897, Northern Wisconsin Center (NWC) is a short-term assessment and treatment facility for people who have an intellectual disability as well as a mental illness and aggressive or challenging behaviors. The programming is designed to assist clients in developing the skills necessary to live in a community setting with as much independence as possible.
